As a licensed psychotherapist and Jungian Analyst (IAAP), I work with adults experiencing psychological difficulties, inner conflicts, and challenging life situations. As a Privatdozent in Medical Psychology at LMU Munich, I combine clinical experience with a scientific perspective. Psychotherapy is available in German, English, and Russian.
Not everything that brings people to psychotherapy presents itself as a clearly defined problem. Sometimes, something remains unresolved internally - a persistent tension, uncertainty, or a discrepancy between outward functioning and inner experience. Analytical psychotherapy can help to better understand the psychological processes underlying such patterns and to develop new ways of experiencing and acting.
WHO IS ANALYTICAL PSYCHOTHERAPY SUITABLE FOR?
This practice is particularly suited to people who:
– experience inner conflicts or recurring relationship patterns – are seeking new direction during personal or professional transitions – are concerned with questions of identity, self-understanding, or their future path in life – experience persistent inner tension or dissatisfaction despite outward stability
POSSIBLE TOPICS
Possible concerns include, for example:
– persistent inner tension, anxiety, or emotional distress – exhaustion, burnout, or loss of direction – recurring relationship patterns or conflicts – depressive symptoms, inner emptiness, or persistent dissatisfaction – psychosomatic symptoms and physical expressions of psychological conflicts – questions of identity, meaning, and personal direction
THE ANALYTICAL APPROACH
Jungian analysis is a depth-psychological approach within Analytical Psychology as developed by C. G. Jung. It focuses on unconscious processes, recurring patterns, and how they influence our experience, thinking, and behavior.
The therapeutic work explores how these processes shape emotional experience, relationships, and self-understanding over time. Sessions involve careful listening and joint reflection, with attention to what also emerges within the therapeutic relationship.
Depending on the concerns and circumstances, therapy may be short-term, longer-term, or open-ended.
PRACTICE IN MUNICH
My private practice is located in Munich’s Kunstareal, opposite the Neue Pinakothek. The practice is easily accessible by underground, tram, and bus. Psychotherapy sessions take place in the practice or, depending on legal requirements and individual circumstances, online.
ONLINE PSYCHOTHERAPY
– Individual sessions via secure video conferencing – Psychotherapy in German, English, or Russian
Online psychotherapy is provided under my German licence to practise. Additional legal or regulatory requirements may apply when staying outside Germany.
FEES
A 50-minute psychotherapy session is charged at €134.06, based on a 2.3 multiplier. Billing is private according to the German Fee Schedule for Psychotherapists (GOP). Reimbursement by private health insurance may be possible depending on your policy and insurance contract. Please clarify the conditions with your insurer before beginning therapy. Self-paying clients cover the costs themselves.
Schedule a 15-minute introductory consultation — a brief initial conversation to explore together whether an analytical approach may be appropriate for your situation.
At the beginning, we have several sessions to clarify your current situation, your concerns, and possible therapeutic steps together. If it seems appropriate to continue working together, the frequency, scope, and duration of therapy are agreed individually.
